Reflection 2:

          To complete this observation I sit with my mentor and ask her about the roles and responsibilities of the teacher:

·      Sign in and out.

·      Attends the morning assembly.

·      Bus duty.

·      Lesson preparations - plans are due before Sunday morning.

·      Break duty.

·      Meets with parents.

·      Attends a meeting.

·      Marking work.

·      Class teaching.

·      Attendance – call the parents if absent.

·      Keep records f students work – notes checklists.

·      Formal marks at the end of each term.

Ms. Sara use a nice strategy that I like to take attendance, by taking attendance she practice with the learners how to count by letting one of the boys stand up and count the boys, then she let one of the girls stand up and count the girls only and after that she ask another student to count all the class so they learn how to count and then how to add by adding boys and girls.

Reflection 1:

                Thursday November 6, 2014 first day at my teaching practice, it’s been really nice day. I like the school because of the staff they were helpful and I meet almost all of them. At the beginning of the day a meet Om Mansour she is the assistant she help a lot with my observation I introduce my self to her and then she took me to Ms. Jeannine who is the head of faculty we sit for 10 minuets talking about the roles, what should I do and how’s my mentor. And then I meet my mentor Ms. Sara she introduce her self to me and I told her about all my observations and what should I do and then I asked her to have a permeation to take a photos for this 2 weeks. However, I’ll work with KG2 that’s make me felt more confortable because KG2 has already got there experience of being in school of course there are some things that surprise me for example student were welcoming they wasn’t scared like what I think they were to helpful and lovely I start play with them after introduce my self. What I learn today that by introduce your self your life will be easier and what you think is not what you see or do.

Teaching practice

            Finally, we’re going to the teaching practices. Am so excited I can’t wait till I meet my new little friends, it’s my first step to my dream I’ll do my best to increase my ability and deal with children and let them feel comfortable. In this teaching practice we’re going to learn new things that’s we never tried before. Let me be honest the reason why am so excited ILOVE CHILDREN, all what I dreamed about is dealing with children’s. All what am worried about is my final teaching practice mark but I’ll always do my best to get A.
